DAP Meter & AEC

For Existing X-ray Equipment

VacuDAP can be easily installed on existing equipment by using the measurement unit and display unit together. We offer a lineup matched to your specific equipment, including the Standard model for general radiography, the Fluoro model for fluoroscopy, and the Compact model for mobile radiography. The display unit is equipped with an RS232 port, allowing measurement data to be transferred to a computer. Additionally, the measurement unit can be configured directly from the display unit.

For New X-ray Equipment

A variety of VacuDAPs are available for integration into equipment. The VacuDAP can be used as a stand-alone instrument, sending measurement data directly to the x-ray machine. The RS485-RS232 converter can also be used to connect to any computer. The instrument can be configured to suit the operating environment by using the ASCII protocol. In addition to the wired model, a wireless model using Bluetooth is also available, eliminating the need for troublesome cable wiring and cable damage caused by use in drive units.

For Air Kerma Measurement

VacuDAP duo can measure area dose and incident dose simultaneously. The instrument alone can send the measured data directly to a computer, or you can use the display to check the incident dose while using the instrument. The instrument can also be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth, so there is no need to worry about wiring.

For C-arm Equipment

VacuDAP C is the ideal model for circular collimators. By matching the measuring instrument to the shape of the collimator, more advanced measurement and highly accurate incorporation can be achieved. Two models are available: one to measure area dose and the other to measure area dose/incident dose.

AEC

This is an AEC (automatic exposure controller) with an ion timer system that detects the air kerma in the ionization chamber as an ionizing current. It detects the optimum X-ray dose for the image and controls X-ray irradiation without being affected by X-ray quality, subject thickness, or other factors. Since the output is digital, it can be controlled with higher precision than analog control. An analog conversion module is also available, so analog equipment can also be used without problems.
