AEC
AEC (Automatic Exposure Controller) is an ion-chamber-type measuring device that uses an ion timer to maintain a consistent image density regardless of the thickness of the subject.
Since it can stop the X-ray exposure at any desired dose, it helps reduce unnecessary X-ray exposure and contributes to lowering radiation exposure.
■ AEC Chamber
VacuTec’s AEC features a proprietary mechanism that enables digital output.
It provides signal output with higher precision than analog systems.
