AEC
The AEC (Automatic Exposure Controller) is an ion-chamber-type dosimeter that uses an ion timer system to maintain a consistent image density regardless of the subject’s thickness. Since it can stop irradiation at any desired X-ray dose, it helps reduce unnecessary X-ray exposure and contributes to lowering radiation exposure.
■ AEC Chamber
VacuTec’s AEC features a proprietary mechanism that enables digital output. It provides signal output with higher precision than analog systems.
