Shields for CT and Surgery/Others
We offer a range of protective products suitable for various X-ray imaging applications.
■ CT Shield
These shields provide targeted protection against X-ray exposure to sensitive areas such as the thyroid, breasts, and lens during CT scans. Pediatric sizes are available depending on the child’s age.
・Lens Shield:
Blocks over 60% of X-rays from the CT scan to the eyes(lens).
・Thyroid Shield:
Blocks over 65% of X-rays to the thyroid, preventing tissue damage.
・Breast Shield:
Blocks over 67% of X-rays to the breast, reducing the risk of cancer associated with CT scans.
・Pediatric Shield:
Designed for children, who are more sensitive to X-rays than adults. Four sizes are available to suit different ages.

■ RadBlock
RadBlock protects the surgeon from scattered radiation during surgery using fluoroscopy equipment.
The sheet is pre-cut to fit the procedure, so it can be placed over the patient and used without interfering with the procedure.
