Carbon Graphite Grid

Because the foil has excellent straight-line stability and can be controlled with high precision, it suppresses the occurrence of moiré patterns caused by unevenness.

■ Features

  • The carbon graphite grid is a product developed using JPI’s proprietary manufacturing process. Through precision machining that applies techniques from the semiconductor industry’s cutting processes, it reduces the moiré pattern caused by foil unevenness.
  • It is ideal for mammography and angiography, which require high-resolution images. We can manufacture high-density grids with up to 135 lines per centimeter, making them suitable for angiography and tomosynthesis systems that demand strict precision.
Furthermore, the use of high-density grids with 100 or more lines per centimeter eliminates the need for a shaking mechanism, thereby reducing noise issues in mammography systems caused by shaking systems.
  • With a high degree of flexibility in foil thickness and grid line angles, and the ability to accommodate a wide range of specifications—including ultra-small sizes and cross-grid patterns—it is well-suited for prototyping in research and development applications.
