What kind of grids are crisscross grids?
This grid can remove scattered rays in two directions (vertical and horizontal).
Since the cross-grid is constructed by superimposing vertical and horizontal grid layers at right angles, it can eliminate
scattered light not only in the horizontal direction but also in the vertical direction, thereby further improving image quality.
However, because it consists of a two-layer structure formed by stacking grid layers, the reduction in primary X-ray transmission
has been a concern up until now.
On the other hand, our single-layer crisscross grid, manufactured using our carbon graphite material and produced in a single
layer via semiconductor cutting technology, enables improved image quality without reducing transmission. As a single-layer grid, this product is an effective solution for devices requiring high precision, such as angiography systems, bone densitometers,
and CBCT scanners.
