質問 How do you manage doses overseas?

回答 診断参考レベル(DRLs)の使用を義務化又は推奨しています。

International guidelines from organizations such as the ICRP and the IAEA recommend the use of DRLs (Diagnostic Reference Levels) as the optimal approach. Furthermore
, in Europe, EU member states are required to establish DRLs, and each country has adopted them.

In the United Kingdom in particular, reports indicate that the thorough and consistent implementation of DRLs over a period of more than 25 years has led to a reduction in patient radiation doses.

In Japan, the first DRL was issued by J-RIME on June 7, 2015, and has been contributing to the optimization of medical radiation exposure.

It is also considered preferable to use KAP (DAP: dose per area) for measuring these DRLs.
